Cakes

I have discovered something that I really love doing - creating cakes. Notice I did not say decorate, but create. I don't do fondant and I don't even own decorating tips, but I love to build and create 3-D cakes. Maybe that would explain why one of my favorite shows to watch is Food Network Challenge - different bakery chefs compete to see who can build the best cakes. They're more elaborate than I could ever be, but I have fun doing what I do and look forward to every birthday or event when I can try something new. Here are a few pics of what I have done.
